Set your iron or heat press to 284°F (140°C) — lower than embroidered patches because woven patches are thinner and bond at a lower temperature. Place the patch adhesive-side down on cotton, denim, or canvas, cover with parchment paper or a thin cloth, and press firmly for 25–30 seconds with a home iron (steam OFF) or 12–15 seconds with a heat press. Let it cool fully before handling. For garments that get heavy washing, add a few stitches around the border for a permanent hold. Avoid direct application on nylon, silk, or heat-sensitive synthetics — use sew-on backing instead. Wait 24 hours before washing, then cold water inside-out and hang dry.
