Behind the Scenes: PVC Patch Molds

The creation of a PVC patch begins with a detailed metal mould, reflecting the final design. Liquid PVC mixed with desired colors is poured into this mould, filling each specific area. Precision in filling ensures clarity and accuracy of the design. The mould is then heated, solidifying the PVC into the patch's shape. Once cooled, the patch is extracted, showcasing a durable and vibrant design.

Minimum Order Quantity or MOQ

We incorporate the initial mold charge into our overall pricing for PVC patches, which is reflected in a MOQ of 100 pieces. Given that each mold is tailored to specific artwork, modifying it post-creation requires an additional mold charge for the time and materials used. We do not charge extra for simple color changes, but any alterations to the design, size, or shape will necessitate a new mold, which will incur an additional mold fee.

Variety of Color

Our PVC patches come with two colors in the base price, with the option to include up to four colors for an additional fee. For designs needing more than four colors, we offer custom price quotes. If you don't have a specific Pantone color in mind, our team will help match to the closest solid coated Pantone. Pantone colors ensure vibrant and precise color representation for your brand or design.

Sew Channel for Easy Application

Sew channels on PVC patches provide a practical and user-friendly solution for attaching patches to various garments and accessories. These channels, which are indentations or lines around the patch's border, offer a clear guide for the needle and thread during sewing. They serve as a helpful aid for maintaining straight and even stitching, ensuring that the patch is securely and neatly attached.

Peel & Stick Backing:
- Specialized strong ashesive.
- Helps hold patches in place for sewing.
- Leather with Peel & Stick backing can serve as rugged, unique stickers!
Hook & Loop Backing
Popular among military, law enforcement, and other uniformed personnel, this backing is highly sought after for its durability and versatility.

- Easy application
- Heat-activated adhesive that fuses the patch to the hat or garment.
