Cover with parchment paper to protect the chenille texture. Let cool completely. For varsity jackets and heavyweight garments, reinforcing with a few edge stitches makes the hold permanent through washing. Avoid thin or stretchy fabrics — chenille patches are heavy and need a stable base. Wait 24 hours before washing.
