Merrowed Edge: This standard edge, crafted by a specialized machine, features a wrap-around stitch along the patch border. The merrowed edge is made at a thickness of 1⁄8 inch and is ideal for square or circular shapes. The merrowed edge imparts a classic finish to traditional designs.
Laser Cut Edge: For intricate and complex shapes, opt for the state-of-the-art Laser cut edge. Utilizing the latest laser technology, this process precisely cuts the patch along the shape of the design. The laser cut edge provides enhanced flexibility in design, making it the perfect choice for those seeking a complex shape without compromising on quality.

Production Turnaround Time: Standard or Rush?

Our standard production turnaround time is a competitive 15 business days, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and superior craftsmanship. For those with tighter schedules, we provide a rush production option, delivering in just 10 business days without compromising quality. This expedited service caters to clients with time-sensitive requirements, ensuring that our embroidered patches meet the highest standards while accommodating tight schedules. We achieve this by directing your order to a specialty pro- duction facility dedicated to producing the highest quality patches as quickly as possible. This service includes a 50% rush fee.

50% Embroidery

For a more versatile and classic approach, consider requesting 50% Embroidered Patches. Twill backing provides the canvas onto which we embroider the design, covering 50% or less of the surface area. This option is often preferred for text-only designs, such as Name patches, where the ample open space allows for a clean and straightforward presentation. The 50% embroidery style is a timeless choice, maintaining simplicity while delivering a classic and refined aesthetic to your patches.

Customize with Versions

Customize your embroidered patch with the ability to add versions. A ‘version’ is a minor modification or variation in your artwork. Changes in colors fall under the version category as well as small text changes (ie. personalized names). Please note that any significant changes to the artwork or design, such as changing shapes, or size of the patch, do not fall under ‘versions’ and must be processed as separate orders. We charge a flat fee of $25 for each version change.

100% embroidery is the default choice when ordering a custom embroidered patch from New York Custom Labels. We begin with a twill canvas that is completely covered with embroidery threads, creating a seamless and polished appearance.
